Brian is the President and founder of the Brian Murphy Group. His Higher Education publishing experience dates to 1986 and includes senior sales leadership positions at both the college (Houghton Mifflin, Cengage) and K-12 Levels (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). Brian created the technology sales team at Addison-Wesley Longman and helped launch MyMathLab, the most successful technology product in Higher Education. While at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt he successfully created the first inside sales team in K-12 publishing.
As Vice President of Sales for the Brian Murphy Group, Nick develops sales and marketing strategies to promote the growth of clients’ adoptions. He also oversees operations to ensure timely delivery of business analytics reporting to our clients. Nick’s eight years of industry experience include editorial department work at Bedford/St. Martins, higher education textbook and technology sales at Cengage Learning, and K-12 digital literacy sales at Achieve3000.
Allison is the Brian Murphy Group’s Marketing Manager. She collaborates with clients to develop and implement marketing campaigns for titles and educational content, and tracks campaign results through SalesForce reporting. Allison has five years of experience with major publishers such as Pearson, Cengage, and Houghton Mifflin. She has a degree in Public Communication and Graphic design from American University.
